Shading a Sphere Worksheet – Middle School Art – Sub Plan – High School Project

$3.50

Product Description

This is a classic exercise in shading and understanding light and shadow using value to create depth. Included is:

  • A worksheet on value and shading the sphere.
  • A video demonstration on how to shade the sphere using charcoal and graphite.

The video troubleshoots common student mistakes and demonstrates how to layer the graphite to build up value slowly and neatly. Parts are sped up so students can see the entire process unfold quickly. This value drawing exercise can precede any shading unit.
