Product Description
These perspective drawing art worksheets are a perfect addition to your middle or high school art curriculum and work great as emergency sub plans. They are excellent for beginner through advanced art classes and are easy to use and ready to go. Pencils and paper are the only materials needed.
The drawings can be done on the worksheet, in a sketchbook, or on a separate sheet of paper. This drawing lesson is simple to share digitally with your students. They can click the links or scan the QR codes on the worksheets to see two video demonstrations explaining how to draw the die in perspective and add value and shading to the forms.
This lesson contains both the PDF and Google Slide versions of the assignment. This format is excellent for teaching remote or hybrid art classes. Students can always refer back to the videos if they were absent or need a review of the skills and techniques. Rubrics and reference images to draw from are also included on each page. This helps students self-evaluate and monitor their skills as they draw.
The video stresses proper drawing and shading in pencil technique and the importance of layering values to create depth and dimension of the form. Students are always amazed when they see how careful observation and shading can make a simple shape appear three-dimensional. This is a great exercise on its own or to introduce any perspective project.
